Susie Lee is getting things done for our community.
Too many politicians are busy yelling past each other and playing games for personal gain. Susie is different. Since being elected to Congress in 2018, Susie has shown time and time again that she is committed to working across the aisle and bringing people together to put Nevada families first.
As Vice-Chair of the Problem Solvers Caucus, Susie is fighting for real solutions to help our community.
That’s why she was ranked the number one most bipartisan member of Congress.

What are the issues that matter most to you?
Economy, Jobs & Small Businesses
Susie understands that Nevada families are still struggling from the pandemic. And she’s working on bipartisan solutions to get our economy back on track.
Growing up in a working-class family, Susie knows exactly how hard it is to put food on the table or pay for rising health care costs. That’s why Susie has:
Passed legislation to lower taxes and costs for small businesses, which will put more money back in the pockets of hard-working Nevada families.
Worked to expand the Child Tax Credit that will help Nevada families pay for childcare and child-related expenses.
Negotiated to bring billions of dollars in infrastructure projects to Nevada.
Helped pass the Inflation Reduction Act, which led Nevada to have the highest job growth rate in the country in February.
Businesses are expanding in southern Nevada, and our community is benefitting from it. Susie is making it clear that the Silver State is open for business!
Public Education
Susie is the product of the public education system and is committed to ensuring all Nevadans have access to quality, effective, and affordable education.
Before being elected to Congress, Susie spent decades working for education nonprofits committed to improving Nevada’s school system for all our kids. And she’s taken that mission with her to Congress, where she’s working to:
Fully fund our public schools: Susie introduced legislation to provide school districts in Clark County with the resources they need to strengthen opportunities for students from all backgrounds, regardless of the zip code they live in.
Make higher education more affordable: Susie sponsored legislation to assist low-income students and adult learners pay for tuition, books, fees, and other education-related expenses.
Support students beyond the classroom: Susie understands that funding alone isn’t enough for our schools. That’s why she’s fighting to expand after-school services, mentoring and youth development programs, and technical assistance and continuing education programs.
The key to making sure our kids are set up to succeed tomorrow is by giving them the education they deserve today. Susie Lee is making that happen.
Housing and Homelessness
The housing affordability crisis impacts too many American families, especially here in Nevada. In Congress, Susie is working on bipartisan solutions to make housing more affordable for all Nevadans.
Susie doubled the amount of funding Nevada receives for affordable housing, and established the first-in-the-nation, innovative Targeted Fund to support housing initiatives in Nevada.
In 2021, Susie secured $120 million for Clark County’s Welcome Home Community Housing Fund to address homelessness and allow permanent, affordable housing developments in southern Nevada.
Susie also made possible the largest housing investment in Nevada’s history to develop and preserve over 4,000 units of multi-family housing, acquire hundreds of acres of new land to create new affordable housing, and incentivize home ownership.
Affordable Health Care
While Susie’s opponent, extremist Drew Johnson, wants to cut lifesaving programs like Medicare, Susie is working to make health care more affordable and accessible for all Nevadans.
Susie believes that no family should ever have to choose between paying for life-saving medical care or putting food on the table. That’s why she is working to:
Lower health care costs: Susie is standing up to greedy pharmaceutical companies by capping the cost of insulin at $35 a month for seniors and out-of-pocket costs at $2,000 a month, and lowering prescription drug prices across the board.
Increase health care access: Susie championed legislation that enabled health centers to acquire and dispatch more mobile clinics to bring essential care to Nevadans. She’s also working to ensure telehealth specialists can reach every community across southern Nevada.
Improve treatment for mental health and substance abuse: Susie is working to protect and support families struggling with mental health and substance abuse by reauthorizing a program to improve youth awareness of risks associated with fentanyl and opioids.
The choice for Nevada couldn’t be more clear: Susie is working on real solutions that will improve health care access and lower costs for our community. Her opponent would just slash critical programs and leave hardworking families behind.
Crime & Public Safety
Law enforcement officers put their lives on the line to protect our communities. Susie is fighting to ensure they get the respect and resources they need to do their jobs.
Since taking office, Susie has secured $4.5 billion in funding for state and local police to keep us safe.
She’s also a proud supporter of the bipartisan Invest to Protect Act, which will make investments in local law enforcement — in training, recruitment and retention, and mental health. The legislation has been endorsed by the Nevada Association of Public Safety Officers, the Fraternal Order of Police, National Association of Police Organizations, National Sheriffs' Association, and the National Troopers Coalition.
Reproductive Rights
Susie’s opponent, extremist Drew Johnson, wants to roll back the clock on abortion rights. We need your help to stop him.
Johnson has thrown his support behind right-wing extremists who could try to pass a national abortion ban and ban IVF and other critical family planning options.
Like so many Nevada women, this issue is personal to Susie. She courageously shared about the miscarriages she’s suffered and her two children who were conceived using IVF treatment. Without reproductive freedom, Susie wouldn’t have the beautiful family she has today.
That’s why Susie is on the front lines of this fight. She believes women deserve the freedom to make their own medical choices. And her work in this field has earned her the proud endorsement of Planned Parenthood.
